The salon at 53 opened in May 2013. Our salon is made up of 7 staff members where between us all are able to carry out all aspects of hairdressing.
Our salon promises to deliver a top quality service and pride ourselves on having a very loyal and regular clientele ranging in all ages.
We only employ fully qualified hairdressers and indentured apprentices who will use top quality products supported by continuous education to achieve excellent results.
Our prices are based on the time we allow for each appointment and the experience of each individual stylist. We offer appointments with junior, senior and specialist sylists.
We understand at The salon at 53 that every individual has a specific need, so we are happy to provide and welcome each client to a FREE in depth consultation before making any appointment to discuss their needs and budget, in doing so it provides us with the opportunity to achieve and deliver your desired results.

Hi Corrine I was thrilled to get my hair done but a little disappointed with the blow drying and tonging. I am not one to normally say anything but the young lad with blonde curly hair said that he was going to be drying and tonging my hair which was fine, but his blow drying was not how I normally have it done and all the while he was shaking. I asked him if everything was ok and if he was ok(I was a little concerned he may be ill) and he told me he had drunk 2 Red Bull drinks, he appeared to be hyperactive!!!. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET ANYONE INTO TROUBLE but I don't think this would be classed as customer service!!! Really sorry to make a fuss but I thought you should be aware. Maybe a little word in his shell like!!!
