I was so happy on my last visit .. well I'm always happy & I feel really at home there and welcome. It honestly reminds me of a friendly comfy trendy cafe too! The chairs are comfortable which might seem a small detail unless you are waiting for a full head of foils to develop! They always offer refreshments of tea and coffee numerous times and little touches like a chilled water dispenser next to the products which you can peruse and look at magazines and "hair menus" .. it all add to the relaxed experience I've grown to love - and the relaxed atmosphere certainly doesn't extend to the approach to our hair.... that's serious and having visited many salons they carry out their work with pride and great care..if they reccomend a service I feel like they are doing it because you could really benefit - no one is "selling" to you - treatments are advertised with prices .. no one has ever "sold" to me but I was given the best advice and now I frequently upgrade after going in frequentky frustrated with dry over processed hair i had messed with -I'm Not even spending more because my hair is stronger and I see far less damage so some treatments that seem expensive really aren't as they pay for themselves. I personally appreciate frank honest advice. If I ask how much hair needs to come off I like an honest answer and you get it here but they certainly respect your request for a light trim if you chose not to take advice -but if you ask a trim you get a TRIM! I've lost count of the the amount of times prior to finding majestic when Ive walked out missing 3 inches after a trim ...or 2 inch long layers cut into hair I've grown for 2 years! Why was my recent visit so good? Other than the boss doing it herself (which just demonstrated the good customer service ethics that must be cascaded to employees which I love) On my recent visit after a detailed chat I found a way to make my regular visits about 25% cheaper and apply colour to less hair but not compromise AT ALL on how it looks! - and I wasn't in on the famous and popular weekly colour sales (25% off your colour can add up!). This salon is not overpriced and has offers all the time. .. in addition it's the only place I've ever felt comfortable when I'm short of money for luxuries and can say so and not feel embarassed - it's like visitong friends there unlike many salons I've been in over the years and they are happy (to my delight personally) to allow you leave with it wet if you prefer or want to reduce the bill. They will even blast dry it FREE! (Putting this in my comment for students and those of you looking for a great QUALITY salon with savings and offers all the time. I have them set up on face book so I see their posts first ) they have a junior hair "menu" I am delighted to have discovered for even more offers! Along with a loyalty card that you can use for a free blow dry - mine is full and I'm already booked in for my next visit. I don't think any salon within miles matches Majestic- you won't find me anywhere else x

I chose to have my bridal party hair and make-up arranged by Louise, Dawn & Lesley and I cannot recommend them all highly enough for both the experience and the final result. Our experience gave us a perfect start to the day at the salon with drinks flowing from cappuccino to prosecco and included a lovely wedding card from the Majestic team. My Bridal and two Bridesmaid’s hair and makeup were absolutely flawless and stunning and we all looked and felt amazing! Thank you all so much. Best wishes Alison xx
