I visited the Celtic Manor to attend the NYE Midnight Ball on our honeymoon break. The day before the ball, I called into Rhys Giles hairdressing, within the Celtic Manor mall to ask on the off chance that I could have my hair styled for the big night the following day. Rhys himself was more than happy to accommodate this at very short notice, booked me in with Meg the next day, and even suggested that once my hair extensions were in, and curled, they could pin them up and I could return just before closing to have my hair styled, meaning it would be perfect and would last the night. And oh how it was. Meg did an unbelievable job and I felt amazing. Not only did it last the night, it lasted the entire following day. Meg was outstanding. As a new client, I was treated like an old friend, and it was so lovely to see Rhys going around to the other stylists checking if they were ok or if they needed anything. Meg told me it was a wonderful place to work and this was abundantly clear as the positive energy amongst stylists and their clients radiates from within the salon. I cannot recommend this salon highly enough and would give 100 stars if I could. I’ve never felt so welcomed and cared for at a hair appointment before. Thank you Rhys and team for giving me a beautiful memory and a wonderful experience.

I made a last minute appointment as my normal hairdresser had to cancel , my hair was in a very bad state when I arrived ? But thanks to Dannis patience and professionalism she made my hair lol beautiful for the ball tonight . Would highly recommend and thank you

I booked to have my hair put up as was attending a wedding and the midnight ball for nye, I came with no ideas or expectations, I was greeted promptly and friendly, by Rhys. Which Rhys also made me a delectable cup of tea (thank you so much), then my stylist got to work! Wonderful conversation, fully engaging and she was totally happy to go with whatever style took her fancy as I didn’t mind at all. I left feeling amazing, very elegant…. which was ultimately the desired result, and it was achieved above and beyond! With the added bonus that if my curls dropped during the day, she would re curl for me before the midnight ball……hands down amazing customer service, lovely stylists, will be most definitely using this salon again highly recommended 😘
