Although being wrongly signposted within the Forum of the Celtic Manor (there's a sign in the Forum pointing to "Hair Salon" which takes you to reception at the Forum, whereupon we were told that Rhys Giles hair salon is not even on that floor, let alone in the Forum!), once I'd finally tracked down Rhys Giles' salon in the Celtic Mall, it was like entering an oasis of calm, professionalism and serenity. My stylist (Danni, I think) was great, listened to my requirements and then delivered perfectly, all the while making really interesting, engaging and insightful conversation. Rhys came over and introduced himself, remembered that my wife had told him, when booking the appointment over a week ago, that I'd been recently hospitalised, he asked how I was recovering and feeling: such a lovely personal touch. So, with Danni's expertise and personality and Rhys' memory and concern, I was made to feel really valued and, consequently, although today's appointment at Rhys Giles was a first, it most certainly won't be my last: with this exceptional level of care, skill and personal service, I'd be mad to go anywhere else!
