Many salons are loud, noisy places Shaltons wasn't, the staff are calm, voices are calm and relaxed, everything there made me feel chilled out. Emily was in training and Elaine was superb in guiding her and ensuring I left the salon happy. Thank you ladies

I was looking for a quick last min appointment as booking in advance isn't always possible, I was fitted in very quickly.all the staff were very friendly and chatty.my hair is amazing,I recieved advice on what I wanted,gentle encouragement when I started to panic and the cut is amazing.i will definitely be returning.

Excellent service and as always a great haircut and colouring experience. A bit warm in the salon today, but we are in a heatwave so hardly surprising! I do find hair washing basins a bit uncomfortable due to my arthritis, not sure what can be done about that.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are aware it had been quite warm in the salon and have invested in some good quality fans, we hope this makes a difference next summer. Sorry to hear of your discomfort at the backwash area and thank your for bringing it to our attention, we do use neck rests but are looking into getting new ones. Please bring it to our attention when you’re next at the salon and maybe we could put extra towels around your neck for comfort.

Really lovely to have my haircut by Katie today, honestly the friendliest stylist I’ve ever had and also her advice was really good too. I felt the most at ease in a hair salon that I’ve ever felt. If I’m being really picky, it would have been nice to have been offered a drink by someone in the salon - as I heard other people being offered them, but this is only a very minor point! Thank you for a lovely experience.

This was my first visit to Shaltons and I'll definitely go back (in fact I've booked my next two appts already). I was desperate to get my hair colour sorted out and Katie spent ages talking to me about what I wanted, showing me colours, liaising with another staff member to make sure that she'd got the best shade. I'm really pleased with what she did - it was exactly what I wanted. The salon is friendly but professional. You feel like you're in a smart environment. Coffee was good too!
