I have had Rob cutting my hair for over 22 years. I don't have an addictive personality, and only visit every 5-6 months, but I don't seem to be able to go anywhere else, or let anyone else cut my hair. Always a good experience.

I have had nothing but excellent service at Convict Cutters and my stylist (Claire) has always done exactly what I have asked. I would rate a little below excellent for value for money, simply because it's one of the more expensive salons in Launceston, however you get what you pay for. The price is the only reason I would be less likely to refer Convict Cutters to some people as they wouldn't spend the money. I've had a number of bad hair cuts elsewhere and I don't mind paying more to have it cut properly, especially as I already save money by not dying my hair. Lost one star for "how were you treated" because I had to wait a little longer than usual (5-10 minutes as opposed to normally going in straight away). That's probably nit picking though ;)

I have been a customer for approx 20 years and in all that time I have always been treated with respect and aknowledged by everyone in the salon. The plus is I get a great haircut too!!!

The stylist I booked was unavailable at short notice so I was happy and grateful to receive a call first thing that morning to be booked in the same afternoon with the awesome Kim. Loved the salon atmosphere. I had a lovely view from the front window. First time here and I will be back, thank you. Very happy with the colour - I got compliments as soon as I left the salon!
