Children running around in spa , then watching tv on mother’s iPhone with volume up. Not what I would expect from any spa. I could have stayed and home and done my nails myself if I wanted that environment and saved myself £40. Very poor

For a man's Manicure which is quoted on the website at £23 and Pedicure at £27 the cost would be £50. We were charged £65. For the two of us £130 I did query this and they seem unable to work this out and the person said they were looking at the website the same as me. Under the menu it does mention Duration 30 minutes £30. Should it be what you see is what you pay. Not hidden extra costs? The treatment you receive seems to be based on the person who does your treatment. Myself I did not get as much time as the person I was with a duration of some ten minutes less than they got, in total for both treatments. I noticed that on the manicure I did not receive hand cream or massage as the other person I was with got. When I asked. The person who did the other manicure did this for me. There does not seem a set process for what is carried out in treatments. When it came to payment and how are you paying for this. It seemed take longer than both my treatments. I have been here before and have received better treatment and service. Will I be returning NO. Jarrolds has a fine reputation for quality and service in this instants it was not so.

This was my second appointment and second experience of brow tinting. I have pale skin and light hair so emphasised that I wanted light brown tint and did not want statement dark brown brows.The result was exactly what I did NOT want, though the same lady had done it better the first time. She spent time trying to reduce the colour but it was not satisfactory.

Such a shame and waste of money. My "Escape" relaxation package at the Jarrolds Retreat was so disappointing due to the location of the treatment rooms above the street where a busker was trumpet playing (badly!). Despite the calming mood music in the room, it wasn't enough to drown out the jarring sounds from the street below. The treatment itself was very good, although I did miss being offered a glass of water afterwards. Despite Jarrolds considerable investment in the refurbishment of the whole treatment rooms, I would not want to return due to the outside noise.

There was a team of photographers S. basically they told us we were on their; which is very rude, I was having two treatment and my manicure got interrupted and I had to finish my appoinment downstairs in a hurry as we got delayed and I had another appoinment to attend to so not very happy in the hall, not very good customer service. The girls were very upset about the whole sutuation. I’m sure as a paying customer I deserve better . Thank you

Hi there, I came in with my daughter on Wednesday afternoon to have her nails painted and the varnish chipped lots yesterday so I have had to repaint them myself this morning, before we go on holiday. I know I only paid £7.50 but I thought the nails would last more than 24 hours!
