Advice on cut, cutting and blow dry was fine. No issues. For better "special" experience an offer of a beverage, some pleasantries and follow up on showing me how to blow dry a fringe as had been offered would've made it more of a special experience.

It was a pity that the salon was just too busy for anyone to give the level of service that I have come to expect from past experience, which had always been good, and why I had returned. The stylist was curt and distracted, and failed to introduce herself. I felt uncomfortable, and I eventually gave up trying to make conversation. The cut was well executed but rushed; I wished I had the courage to ask for some adjustments in the layering. I regretted asking for an unscheduled blow-dry, clearly I was taking too much time already. I paid up and left with my tail between my legs.

Quite disappointed with my visit today. My hair cut lasted 20 minutes!!! My hair wasn’t blow dried professionally - literally just how I do it at home - rough and ready. My hair wasn’t combed prior to straightening and therefore kept pulling with little knots - really quite uncomfortable. The lady did change my appointment meaning I paid less but, honestly £30 for 20 minutes is still not good. Honestly, very underwhelming today.

I was put in the corner, the mirror looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Splash marks and dust covered the mirror and the 'table' in front of me. The Whole salon felt dirty. The hair cut it self wasn't great, the lady seemed nice enough, but didn't seem confident in what she was doing. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming, no music was played and I wasn't offered a drink. I will not recommend this salon to anyone, and I certainly won't be going back.

I am never the most enthusiastic about a haircut, for me it is just a haircut. However, I did not expect to be left waiting without apology for the stylist over running., plenty of giggly girls walking about who could have explained. No drink offered, I put this down to maybe a Covid measure, but no, other ladies were offered a drink. She gave a bit of advice on the cut which I welcomed. The stylist wouldn’t engage, I’m used to a bit of a chat but nothing, I tried, but she just closed the chat down. By the end when I was asked how I would like my hair dried I was exasperated and just replied “so it’s not wet when I walk home”; what I didn’t expect was that this meant wafting a hairdryer over my head whilst tousling it with fingers until it was dryish, but still damp underneath. Not even brushed. The haircut is okay, but I couldn’t have felt less welcome if you’d tried, I won’t be back.

I am very disappointed following my experience at the cutting room today. I arrived at 12.45 for my appointment and by 1.20 I still hadn't had a conversation about what I wanted from the hair cut. I had to wait an excessive amount of time, even during my hair wash I had to wait. I felt like I wasn't understood or listened to and my hair stylist seemed very distant. Having paid £40 I received very poor customer service and my hair does not look like the picture I brought with me and what I asked for. My hair hasn't been taken short enough, wasn't smoothed and finished and was blow dried so that it went fluffy which I specifically asked not to be done. Following this experience I will not be recommending or returning to the cutting room.
