Another local hairdresser, Head Case, messed up my booking despite it being made only the day before. I booked a last minute appointment with the Cutting Rooms for later in the day. I arrived late to my appointment, and was so impressed with the professionalism and quality of cut delivered that not only will I be returning - I have also pointed a few others their way.

It was our first time at the salon last night and Shelby cut my 12yo daughter's hair. Shelby was very welcoming and took the time to do an amazing haircut complete with new fringe! Hannah absolutely loves it. Whilst I was there I also had a chat to see who the right person to cut my hair is (it's thick and wavy/curly) and am now looking forward to getting my hair cut in a couple of weeks.

Claire was an absolute star, so positive and helpful with a professional viewpoint of what would suit me. She completely took care of me, and as my first appointment of any kind since the start of the pandemic I couldn’t have had a more comforting experience. All the ladies at the salon are lovely and wearing masks and visors to keep everyone safe as well as having big pyrex screens between stations. I felt so much more confident leaving after only going in for a basic wash, cut and dry. I’m sad to be leaving Alton after only just discovering The Cutting Salon, but I might be able to make the excuse for a 1.5 hour drive as I really couldn’t have asked for better x
