I did a lot of research before visiting the salon. Whilst the end result was acceptable, the service not so great. Running 35 mins behind,couldn't do what I had asked even though they had confirmed they could when contacting them before I booked. Receptionist was lovely. But whole thing, for what they charge is pretty over rated. I will look elsewhere.

Unfortunately todays treatment was not good. I’m a bridesmaid this weekend in France so wanted to treat myself to LVLs. Having had this treatment a few times previously at your salon I knew what to expect. The treatment seemed more uncomfortable today with the tape to hold down my bottom lashes. A lot of fiddling with lashes. The end result was extremely poor. My lashes had hardly lifted and certainly not curled, and as I have long lashes the result is usually a real wow. The tint was also very weak, I have a more decent result from having my lashes tinted previously. I feel I wasted over an hour of my time with no result and no time to get it fixed as I fly to France on Thursday. I would however like to say Nikki was very gracious and professional in dealing with the matter.

Everything felt so rushed. My nails don’t look great - I wasn’t asked about length or shape and they’re far too long. I went straight from a removal to painting…..I had assumed that I’d be asked about length and shape when I moved stations, but the polish was going on before I could really comment. To be honest I’d rather have just had my appointment cancelled if there was no time to do it properly as I need to find somewhere to get the length sorted now anyway. Previously had good experiences here, so I was a bit surprised by the rush and lack of attention to detail. It felt a bit like my nails were just painted and the old polish removed with no manicure (no cuticle work or shaping was done). Suspect it was just a bad day and lack of staff, but still disappointing.

Okay £30 for a pedicure and £40 for gel manicure ahead of a weeks holiday. The pedicure smudged before I even got home despite wearing flip-flops, I believe this is because there was no quick drying topcoat used and certainly no implement used to speed up the drying process. Four days into my holiday the gel manicure had chipped as well and it looked awful; I would’ve fully expected it to last for two weeks as they do usually. I emailed while away and arranged to go in on my return; I was offered a “repair” but I chose to have it removed. In fairness the staff offered an apology and this was done without charge, but frankly that is the very least that I would have expected. I had read the reviews of the salon (which is why I went in the first place) but based on my experience I am not sure that I would return

I booked this pedicure less than 7 days ago and was sent an email confirmation of the booking confirming the price at £40. When I came to pay I was told the price was £45 and when I queried this was told this was due to price increases. This is a breach of the contract that I entered into when making this booking, and this undermines any confidence I would have in the salon, therefore it would prevent me booking again or recommending this salon.

Please accept our apologies for this. You should have been charged our old price for the treatment. On the 1st April (the day you came in) was the day our new price increase was released. Reception should have charged you the original price quoted on our website. Please do call the salon and we will refund the difference. It was a difficult decision to raise our prices however due to the high increase of costs we did not have any other option. Please accept our sincere apologies.

I had come to Nail and beauty because I’d been given a gift voucher for my birthday and I decided to use it for a back massage. I decided to make it a special treat by also booking to have a manicure and picked the two thirty minute services to do this. When I arrived on the day my name had been incorrectly recorded as Helen Lindsey. They corrected this and I went for my massage which was very good and I cannot fault the masseuse who was very good and put me at ease but was 45 minutes and therefore not covered by the gift voucher I was given. Once the massage was finished there was a wait for my nails to begin as I think they were trying to locate the correct products to use. Then the colour I picked out for my nails was not in stock. I was asked to pay before my nails were painted and was taken aback when I was told that the bill was £100 not the £80 I expected ( £30 after I had used my voucher). I tried to say that this wasn’t the price I expected from the booklet I had been given with my voucher but didn’t really feel listened to or that I could explain. By this point I was already late ( I had only expected to be in the salon for an hour in total) and so didn’t feel I could enjoy my nails being painted. I don’t feel that the manicure was done well as I had asked my nails to be cut to the same length and there is a lot of contrast between them. I also saw that there were some smudge lines on my nails even as they were finished. I had to leave the salon after about 5 minutes which I know is sooner than I should have done but I was really late by this point. By the time I got home all the nails on my left hand were ruined so I have had to take all the polish off and feel that it’s been a huge waste of money. There was a lot of poor communication which unfortunately really spoiled my experience today.

Having listened back to your call you requested to book in our spa manicure which is 1 hour, not 30 minutes as mentioned. Your voucher was for £50, the massage was £55 and spa manicure £45 totaling £100. Apologies that we had your name wrong and that the colour you selected was out of stock but we had an issue purchasing some colors over the Christmas period. We would like to offer you the opportunity to come in for us to paint your nails as you didn't have the time on the day you visited to have this done due to you being late for another appointment. Please email us your availability and we will book you in. Once again please accept our apologies that your experience was not what you expected.
