Made the appointment via email. StatedI wanted IPL treatment on my face. Was given an appointment. Turned up at the salon and after being kept waiting for 25 minutes they refused to do the treatment because they do not treat the face during the summer months but they were keen for me to book treatments for other areas of the body. I have nowhere else I need treated. I was then told they had held the consultation and so expected payment.

We are sorry we were unable to perform the IPL on your face but one of the biggest contraindications for this is a tanned skin of which we understand you currently have. Our most popular times for IPL is normally during the winter months as then the skin is not tanned but we can perform this treatment during Summer if there is not a tan but unfortunately is your situation this was not possible. We do take a payment for your consultation as we are using the IP machine to perform a patch test however, this payment is held on your account and if you go ahead with any IPL courses then they consultation payment is discounted on the course of treatments. We did advise for you to return in the winter months to have the IPL as this will ensure you do not experience any treatment issues with it being performed on your face when there was a current tan. I hope you understand the reasoning for us declining the treatment at the current time.

I gave my daughter my appointment for a pedicure last night as a treat. But her big toe was really badly cut during the treatment when cutting nail in big toe and as she is pregnant has really concerned me and very painful for her. I have used salon for years and only had odd Nick on cuticle so very shocked to see her foot last night

Lady who did my treatment was clearly having a bad day as grumpy throughout. Quality nowhere near what it usually is.

Every time I come to get my nails done I choose a colour and it’s never in stock. I then have to make another selection and it’s really annoying. This has happened for approximately the last year. On one occasion I had to make 3 choices of colour because the ones I selected were not in stock.

We are sorry to hear that the colour choice you want is not always available, unfortunately we have had some issues with our suppliers in the past year due to shortages of their stock. But... we have introduced another range of amazing colours from Gel Bottle to ensure we can offer a full range of alternatives until the stock issues resolve. We hope to rectify this as soon as possible with our suppliers and hope to have our full range back ready for Christmas!

I had a file and polish with Harriet (as per my booking confirmation) i dont know if that was the lady that did my treatment as she didn’t introduce herself. The appointment was 15 minutes late. No apology. I felt the technician was very busy and rushed, and flustered. She seemed annoyed about something. I wondered if it was because I had varnish on to be removed before. She didnt paint the ends of the nail leaving me prone to having the paint crack. I was left and said ill leave you 10-15 mins for them to dry. To which i sat and waited for it to dry. I got home at 4:10pm and my nail smudged as I got home see pictures. Thats over 40 minutes after the paint was done. Really annoyed with the rushed service, and then smudging! Not the usual lovely service or environment I’m used to.

very disappointed with the treatment ; tint and wax eyebrows..., the look is horrible ,uneven looking eyebrows; one wider than the other and the tint is so poor quality , used to do it by myself during the lockdown and got much better results and much cheaper , sorry will not be coming back for sure !!! also the lighting is very bad downstairs , so its quite hard to see what has been done so far when checking in the mirror
