Please can you invest in a second pair of heated tongs. My lovey hairdresser Jess heated them up ready to use on my hair and another hairdresser came and took them once they were heated to use in her client which ended up me having to wait for another 20 mins begore my hair coukd be done. I was already pressed for time so not entirely happy with that!! I am a regular customer and have been coming to Scene for years so I felt that was really unprofessional of the other lady to use in her client who arrived after me! I think this could be resolved by having a second pair of tongs! Thanks. Jess was fantastic as always. Whilst i do not wish to get the other hairdresser into trouble I think it is important this does not happen to another client

I was very fortunate to get a booking at very short notice on a Saturday. I was very pleased with the hair cut I received, especially as it has to be at least 6 months since my last cut so the stylist had their work cut out for them! Definitely would recommend and convenient as free parking opposite.

I would like to see the online booking system improved. Currently only the basics can be booked. No option to book a child in or anything beyond the very straightforward. Restricting students to bookings between Tuesday and Thursday is unhelpful.

My haircut was ok, but my daughter, who had her hair cut at the same time, was upset by the poor, uneven cut. This has therefore affected my overall opinion of the alon.

Very disappointed with this haircut. Uneven, layers poor, looks worse than before the visit - and hadn't had a haircut for about 6 months. My daughter quite upset with her haircut, which she had been looking forward to.

I don’t mean to be unkind but when we moved to Charlton Kings a month ago I thought Scene would make the perfect local salon for all of us but It wasn’t quite what I’d expected. We came in for a relatively simple cut for my daughter who has long hair. But it was cut without washing and when I asked why (there was another little girl in a chair and her hair hair been washed) the stylist said the salon doesn’t do it for children under 10. But no one had even asked us how old my daughter is (as it happens, she’s almost 11 and a tall one at that). I said I thought the other girl definitely looked younger than my daughter and the stylist said she didn’t know why her hair had been washed. She offered to wash it then but I declined, there wasn’t much point washing it then as it’s meant to be before the cut, not after (Im pretty sure the cut is more precise on wet hair). Throughout the visit I found the stylist very unengaged, she didn’t even smile once which was odd and made me feel like we weren’t particularly welcome. The hair cut literally took a few minutes, we paid £14 and left, unsure of what had happened! It’s not a bad cut as such, it more just looks like nothing has been done and the hair is exactly the same as before. Anyway - I wasn’t going to say anything as I don’t like to be “that” customer but you’ve asked for feedback. It just felt like no effort of any kind went into the whole experience, we certainly didn’t expect any kind of red carpet but I’ve had more memorable visits to supermarkets. Sorry - I don’t mean to be caustic but this is an honest comment. I don’t expect you to publish it it’s more just for your own information, if it makes any difference :-(
