After leaving the salon I thought gosh his hair has been cut quite short on the front and unfortunately after getting home and looking at my sons hair more closely, they had cut it too short on the front and left the back top area longer. We asked for the hair on top to be left longer only a little bit off the length. So we’ve have now had to pay out more money for another hairdresser to cut his hair again. Also whilst in the salon another stylist was talking to a client and the word pissed off and pissing me off came up a few times which was completely inappropriate when there is a young child in the salon. So sadly overall experience wasn’t good at all.

My daughter was booked to have a blow dry and set for her school leavers Prom. For £31 I would have expected her to have a shampoo and blow dry. She was in and out in 20 mins. No shampoo or blow dry, just her hair tonged. Not at all Happy with the service or price paid. Very little care and attention.

I don’t mean to be unkind but when we moved to Charlton Kings a month ago I thought Scene would make the perfect local salon for all of us but It wasn’t quite what I’d expected. We came in for a relatively simple cut for my daughter who has long hair. But it was cut without washing and when I asked why (there was another little girl in a chair and her hair hair been washed) the stylist said the salon doesn’t do it for children under 10. But no one had even asked us how old my daughter is (as it happens, she’s almost 11 and a tall one at that). I said I thought the other girl definitely looked younger than my daughter and the stylist said she didn’t know why her hair had been washed. She offered to wash it then but I declined, there wasn’t much point washing it then as it’s meant to be before the cut, not after (Im pretty sure the cut is more precise on wet hair). Throughout the visit I found the stylist very unengaged, she didn’t even smile once which was odd and made me feel like we weren’t particularly welcome. The hair cut literally took a few minutes, we paid £14 and left, unsure of what had happened! It’s not a bad cut as such, it more just looks like nothing has been done and the hair is exactly the same as before. Anyway - I wasn’t going to say anything as I don’t like to be “that” customer but you’ve asked for feedback. It just felt like no effort of any kind went into the whole experience, we certainly didn’t expect any kind of red carpet but I’ve had more memorable visits to supermarkets. Sorry - I don’t mean to be caustic but this is an honest comment. I don’t expect you to publish it it’s more just for your own information, if it makes any difference :-(

Very disappointed with this haircut. Uneven, layers poor, looks worse than before the visit - and hadn't had a haircut for about 6 months. My daughter quite upset with her haircut, which she had been looking forward to.

My haircut was ok, but my daughter, who had her hair cut at the same time, was upset by the poor, uneven cut. This has therefore affected my overall opinion of the alon.
