Really friendly staff. Always make you feel really welcome. Always get great colour from sam and great cut from karen Do find it quite expensive compared to other salons but dont mind paying that bit extra because of the great service and always leave with lovely hair!

Today I had my hair cut plus a lip and chin wax, Im very pleased as always, The staff are very friendly and attentive which makes the whole experience a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Review is a lovely, friendly salon situated on the corner of Nelson St. in Barrow. It has a staff of professional and experienced practitioners who are experts at cutting, colouring and styling. The staff use use cruelty-free and vegan friendly Aveda products ( which smell delicious! and which are also skin-friendly. They cater for all hair lengths and styles and also do nails and beauty. I have thick, shoulder-length hair and as well as a series of fantastic cuts, I have always received the very best advice and care there to keep it in peak condition - thank you to Karen, Sam and Brittany - when people compliment me on the style, shine and condition of my hair, I always say 'It's all thanks to Review!' Totally professional and very experienced and knowledgeable staff. I was guided through my colour highlights and advised what would be best, also I was kept informed during the highlighting process of exactly what was going to happen next, as my hair required a lot of remedial action to say the least. It had suffered neglect on my part. The cut and blow dry after was just amazing and I came away looking like a different person, such a boost, I felt amazing, felt years younger! I can thoroughly recommend Review, their attention to even the smallest of details makes a visit to their salon an absolute joy, they dispelled any anxiety I had about my colour and how it would turn out, they put to rest any fears that I had. They have a very relaxing environment in the salon where nothing is too much trouble. I shall of course be returning as a regular now.
