Review is a lovely, friendly salon situated on the corner of Nelson St. in Barrow. It has a staff of professional and experienced practitioners who are experts at cutting, colouring and styling. The staff use use cruelty-free and vegan friendly Aveda products ( which smell delicious! and which are also skin-friendly. They cater for all hair lengths and styles and also do nails and beauty. I have thick, shoulder-length hair and as well as a series of fantastic cuts, I have always received the very best advice and care there to keep it in peak condition - thank you to Karen, Sam and Brittany - when people compliment me on the style, shine and condition of my hair, I always say 'It's all thanks to Review!' I was reallly please with the service I got today! I rang and asked if they could fit me in at the last minute and they were happy to accommodate as they’d had a cancellation. I was over the moon. I think my stylist was called Britney, she was really friendly and personable and made me really comfortable. The cut she gave me was superb. I felt great walking out of the salon. The receptionist lady was also lovely. I will be back! Thank you so much Review x

Really lovely environment, service was fantastic. Hairdressers there really know what they’re talking about, they’re complete professionals who really understand how to deliver that information. Some hairdressers can seem abrupt with how they talk about your hair but here they say it in a way that sounds polite and comes across as caring. Love the haircut, cut my hair just how I wanted it, really listened and talked about what was best for my hair type and styled it to enhance my natural hair. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back.
