I and many of my friends have gone to Brighton or London in the past - so we are lucky that Newman and Burtenshaw have come to Lewes! Excellent cutting (I have followed Adam from Trevor Sorbie), stylish salon and very frendly too. Prices lower than you would expect to pay at this level plus saving cost of parking/travel if you live locally. Brilliant!

After trying most hair salons in Lewes as well as Brighton, I have finally found a hair salon where they can actually cut hair amazingly and colour hair exactly how you want !! Adam and Kayleigh listened to me and gave me some ideas and really talked through with me what was best for my hair, instead of most salons just doing what they wanted. My hair looks fantastic, I have had endless compliments, as well as people stopping me in the street to ask where I have my hair done. The salon is beautifully designed and not stuffy. Everyone is friendly and attentive and really makes you feel welcome. Everything in the salon has been well thought out from the confortable waiting area, to the delicious coffee and other drinks on their menu, to the vast array of magazines . I have loved my experience at Newman & Burtenshaw, thank you everyone and I will be making sure that all my friends go to this salon so they can stop getting second rate haircuts from the other salons in Lewes!!!

Newman & Burtenshaw These guys can really cut hair. This was my fourth hair cut and I am never disappointed. I was with my daughter on Victoria Station when a lady rushed up to her and asked her where she had her hair cut. Friends of mine have also started going to Adam after seeing my hair. I have already made my next appointment, just in case you all rush there and I can't get one. It would not surprise me. So glad we found you.
