Although I am happy with the outcome of my hair, I felt the whole process was really rushed. I wasn’t made to feel at ease, all I could sense was the busyness of the place and how stretched my hairdresser was to be in lots of places at once. I appreciate it’s an extremely busy time of the year but perhaps don’t accept so many appointments so that customers can feel valued and not like it’s ‘one in one out’. I don’t mean for this to sound like a moan, it’s just something I thought was worth mentioning. I hope it helps!

I enjoy the experience generally and my hairdresser has cut my hair very well. However there is inconsistency with this and the occasional lack of consideration or time to gain a clear idea of how I want my hair cutting. I have been in my appointment for two hours before due to my hairdresser going off to prepare a colour or greet another customer.

Hannah from the Lancaster salon did my hair and she was SO LOVELY! Unfortunately, there was one man who had short hair and tattoos who was quite blunt and rude with his advice telling me that he thought the hairstyle i wanted was ‘awful’ and he ‘wasn’t going to let someone do that to my hair’ which left me coming out of the salon with something i didn’t actually want but that i guess is quite nice. i underatnd that some styles won’t necessarily work the same but there are nicer ways to advise somebody about this. otherwise, i had a lovely time getting pampered, just a shame about the rude member of staff.

It would have been nice to actually receive the coffee I had been offered. More often than not I have to chase the drinks I've asked for up, as service is very slow, but on the last occassion it never came. The girls that show you up the stairs race ahead and I can't keep up with them (having M.S means I can't climb the stairs as quickly) so sometimes I'm lost and not sure where to go. My hairdresser, Helen, is always very pleasant and polite.
