I love having my appointment with Jane. I talk all day long at work and at my hair appointment all I want to do is drink a coffee and read magazines in peace and without interruption. Just blissful. Janes leaves me be. God bless her. My only observation is that I have never had an amazing hair washing experience. It's always been a rushed job. Just spend 3mins massaging conditioner in. Makes all the difference. The owners/two senior people there are always amazing. They understand customer service. They are very impressive.

I called to check the time of my appointment the day before and was told 11.30 - I got there at 11.25 and was told I was late - this did not make me feel very welcome when I had been looking forward to having my hair cut for a long time and it’s meant to be a treat .

Visits to Billy Basin are always an enjoyable experience, staff are helpful, and advice given re hair care, styles, colouring is excellent.

When trying to book on line it does not work. Even if you try to book for the following week the days you select don't then appear with the available appointments, even when I know that the stylist is available that day. This is not the fault of the salon but an issue with the website designers and management company. Being part of a website design team this is a simple process and should be easy to do and manage. If some time was spent on this for improvements salons would get far more bookings. It has been like this for a long time and should be fixed soon or I might just develop my own site that actually works.
