I had had a couple of bad experiences with hairdressers since moving to Edinburgh, but at Austen Thomson they went a long way to make up for this. Having explained about my nerves following previous visits to other salons all the staff went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy with what they were doing. The products to be used were explained, the consultation was brilliant and let me know I was in safe hands. The salon is bright, modern and welcoming and my experience overall was really positive- I will definitely be going back.

Austen, Louise and their team are always so warm, welcoming and professional. Every time I'm there I see Austen teaching someone something - how brilliant is that! I usually see Lauren and she always delivers excellent, professional service. I just had my long hair cut into a short bob and she was wonderful, involving me in every step of the process, careful to give me exactly what I wanted. Great team. Love them.
