Overall a very nice place to be. Food was really nice and bar staff was very friendly and talkative. Our room was very clean and well presented, lovely sized bed (2 singles pushed together wasn't a problem for me but was a little for my girlfriend due to her bad back). My only complaint about the room was the lack of plug sockets, neither side of the bed had a plug socket, the only available one (not including TV) was next to the bathroom so we had to take it in turns using it. Facilities are very good the gym is clean and well equipped for a small gym, changing rooms are fair size, swimming pool was a good size and depth. Car park is very spacious and well kept. The spa itself was very nice although when we turned up for our first treatment we hadn't been booked in but luckily I had the confirmation email on my phone to confirm that I was told it had all been booked with the times, wasn't no problem for the spa ladies though and they made us feel very comfortable. My only real complaint was when we arrived there was building work with scaffolding, we was told it was because there was a lift being fitted. It would have been nice to be contacted before our arrival or told when I was booking that there was loud building works going on, me and my girlfriend have 2 young children and have to get up at around 6am to work and to raise them. So this spa break was our time to have a lie in together but unfortunately due to the building work we had both been woken up on the first morning at around 7-8am which we thought was a bit unfair. We didn't want to complain as there is not a lot that can be done about it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again (just not when there is building work being done).
