I have been going to a 5 star salon in Mayfair, London for a few years now because of work commitments close by. The cut and colour are great but for the service is one of complacency and disinterest in the client and for a very high price! I have recently been to Steve Hilliard Hairdressing in Ampthill and been looked after by Lucy, its close to home, excellent value for money and I could not have been happier! Steve Hilliard promises a 4 point guarantee and his salon and stylists deliver 100%. Lucy listened, she didn't assume when I went back a second or third time that I just wanted the same! My hair is thick so she allows the right amount of time to ensure I get what I want. She has made great suggestions to help me when I'm at home doing my own hair and I can't wait to go back. A fantastic salon, Lucy is amazing, I love my hair when I've been to the salon and everyone comments on it. My hair has never been better and people have noticed and commented, what better compliment than that! I've learnt that paying a fortune in London does not guarantee a great service where people listen and care. I can get all of this on my doorstep, highly recommend Steve Hilliard Hairdressing and I look forward to many more visits!
