I had my hair done at Jo Anderson today and it was wonderful! I rarely have my hair done because I've had so many negative experiences at different salons before, but this was great! I'm still in shock. From the moment I arrived (ten minutes early, oops) I was looked after and made to feel welcome. Ruth sat me down and talked about what I wanted doing, then Paige took me for a hair wash/head massage. The chair was a massage chair (you can say if you don't want it to massage you, mind) and it was so relaxing. I've been to several salons where they scrub at your head and it seems they just want you done as soon as possible, but this was like a luxury experience and it was fab. The cut itself was great, Ruth is really skilled and made me feel so good about myself. I could overhear other customers gushing about how pleased they were so I think their service must be good all round! Can't say enough nice things about them really. I don't live in Hexham but I'll definitely come again next time I'm up!
