It is an amazing friendly salon, you always feel welcomed upon arrival and feel a million dollars when you leave. Don't change your business model, you have a lovely salon that I still travel to even though I have moved away.

My daughter loves going to Blakes. It is a real treat for her. She has fine hair but Anna knows how to cut them to give her a beautiful hair cut. Highly recommended.

The ladies at this salon really go above and beyond for their customers. The first time I visited this salon, they fit me in on short notice because I rang them panicking two days before my wedding after having a botched colour at another hairdressers. They saved the day and made my hair look absolutely beautiful. The second time I visited was today and this was my first visit to a hairdressers since Covid. All of the ladies made me feel very safe and they had gone to great lengths to make the salon as Covid secure as possible. I came out feeling and looking fantastic for the first time since lockdown. Blakes really is the best in the local area and I highly recommend them.

This was my first visit to Blakes after moving into the area. After being with my previous hairdresser for 29 years, I was a little nervous about trying somewhere new. But I was made to feel very welcome, everyone was friendly and I received an excellent cut and blow dry from Suzy. It was good value too and I have already re-booked.

Suzie was amazing today. Managed to get my hair cut and coloured and my little boy's hair cut in the same appointment. She was great with my little boy, putting him fully at ease showing him funny animal videos. Loved the new colour of my highlights and the way she curled the end of my hair. I felt like I had a bit of me time and pampering which I think is important especially after having a baby. The salon has recently lost a member of staff at short notice, but for me though i have had a better experience today than I have had in the past from the former hairdresser. Amazing team, keep up the great work ladies. Would not hesitate to recommend.
