I booked through the website online and paid a £10 desposit. It said that the price for Helen would be £52 and after paying my deposit there would be £42 to pay. However, on returning home I see that my card was debited another £43 making the total payable £53. I know there is only a pound difference but I don't think customers should be mislead like this.

Only visited for a cut and blow dry (30-40 mins) but would have liked t be offered a drink of water ( having waited for the wash and discussion with my stylist ) so got out my own bottle of water from my bag so possibly that halted the offer.

My stylist has been doing my hair now for at least 7 years and understands how I like my hair to look. She is good at advising on when to have my hair re-permed and the products I require to keep my hair in the best condition. The salon is clean and comfortable

I phoned ahead once on my way as my car wouldn't start so was going to be 5mins late; I was advised that would be fine but any longer and it may have to be a wet cut which was fair enough to avoid the next client waiting - we all appreciate appointments being on time. In the event I had the full cut and blow dry and if Helen was rushing I never was made to feel that and I feel the cut was completed with as much care and precision as always. The salon was as spacious and clean as usual and the only reason I haven't given it full marks is the fact it does feel slightly devoid of stylists and clients rather than a bustling popular place to go.

I had a permanent wave today and now my hair looks feels great. My stylist knows my hair really well and I trust her completely. The salon environment is relaxed and the time there is a pleasant experience.
