I took a picture with me for my appointment, the stylist looked at it once, never asked to check it, my hair is nothing like the picture, I am extremely disappointed with it.

Hi , thank you for taking time to leave a review. After speaking with yourself and with your hairdresser it has become apparent that during consultation your hairdresser Jenni talked in detail to you about the picture you had brought with you. It was agreed that many aspects of the picture were not going to work for your hairtype. Jenni is incredibly experienced and talked to you in depth about solutions and ways to make a style work for you. A haircut is not one size fits all, we can only work with what we have in front of us. This is the reason that your stylist never looked at the picture. Because that picture was a different head of hair and nothing like your own. Your review paints a picture of a stylist that couldnt be bothered, like she paid no attention but i know for a fact that time,care and attention was spent on you. She also recomended products and talked to you about rosecea, scalp and skin issues. That never met your service and professional advice tick box either, 2 stars. Fair enough. Sometimes we dont get it perfect first time, sometimes the advice isnt enough. We are, after all only human. Yet ater a phone call, with our manager and with jenni offering to come in on her day off, or to stay late after work for or to take a lunch out to fit you in you have decided to decline. She offered these times because she is a fully booked stylist with 18 years experience that is basically waiting list only at the moment. The offer of resolve has been there. We have spent time on the phone to you,yet you still prefer to leave ,in my opinion, an unfair public review on a small local business and a stylist that works extremely hard for her clients.

My recent visit left me feeling that I definitely would not return. I asked for a specific hairdresser when I booked and paid extra, I did not get her. My hairdresser did not communicate well what she would be doing, and it’s not what I wanted. It felt very rushed and that she didn’t really care if it was what I wanted. I also left with a burnt scalp. When the hairdresser was brushing my hair it was painful, yet she used no leave in conditioner. Would not recommend.

I’m considering trying somewhere else as it’s so hard to rebook in. It’s a shame really but I cant diarise to call when the book opens

The overall environment is fantastic and the cut and colour is nice. My only comments this time was the hair wash and toner felt far too long and I also feel the toner does not suit my hair, it does make my hair have a green/grey tinge which I did express my concern with using before application. I never received my hand massage treatment during my blow dry which I selected on page 2. I was also charged more at the till than my email when I booked which is getting refunded. Personally I feel the magazine choice is poor with not a lot of selection.

I had to wait around 15 minutes as Liam was running late, but everyone made me feel welcome. Felt really pampered especially with the complimentary head massage. Will defo return for my next cut. 😃

Had to hang up and get own coat. Was not offered any refreshments. Felt my massages were an inconvenience and not a pleasurable experience It has become just like any other salon and not standing out like it used to be.
