Before talking about my experience, a premise: I had previous bad experiences, therefore I was a bit scared of having a haircut in a new place. Furthermore I am very demanding and I need someone experienced to take care of my long hair. But when I go to this salon, I feel confident I will get what I want without ruining my hair. The salon is located in a good strategic position in the city centre in the North Laines. Booking is really easy. You can do it through the phone, online (if you use this method, you might find some coupons for first-time customers that allow you to have interesting discounts) or pop in the salon and ask to book an appointment. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, so you can have a chat and a genuine laugh while waiting for your hair to be done They show excellent knowledge of the techniques and procedures and give good tips on how to take care of your hair. Since my first visit here, Neil (the manager and senior hairstylist...and you can really see he's got lots of experience in the field) cut and styled my hair just the way I wanted and nothing seems too hard for him. They follow every stage of the styling. Before starting, they carefully listening to what you'd like. Then you're shown what he's going to do and additionally what technique, and he's doing this during all the process. I find this extremely reassuring and engaging, as you can follow up the entire process and avoid unpleasant results at the end. I always ask for a restyling/haircut/blow dry, so I cannot comment on the colouring or other practises, but I'm sure the staff won't disappoint you.
