I’m TOTALLY disgusted.... I went to my local beauty salon in Cessnock. Mother with dark hair came out of consultation Room2 into waiting room where I was sitting to a young girl around 10 -12 yrs old. She said to her daughter “Come on and try it.” I listened to the young girl loud weeping every bit of waxing being done to her over 20 mins went by another client came into waiting room. Lady asked me” Is that someone crying”. I said “ Yes across the hall a young girl been going on for 20minutrs.” Lady said “ That’s ridiculous, what is that Mother thinking”. I got called - I informed my beauty therapist as I stood in a loud voice -that isn’t right listening to that girl weeping, that’s a form of physical child abuse.” I asked where the owner was (I’ve been going to this salon over 30 years) - doesn’t come into salon now. Okay I suppose she’s busy and who is the manager on duty? Reply : no manager. I informed my therapist what went on. Therapist informed me she didn’t hear anything out the back room and she would .My personal opinion there should be a age before treatment is allowed to be done to a child except for medical conditions.
