Adam did a very good job with my fine, lank hair, suggesting styles that would suit me and giving me advice on how to avoid further breakage (no more tight pony tails with hair elastics!)

Really did not enjoy my experience with Adam. When he washed it, it was really rough and made my neck hurt a lot. Went back to the chair and my back was soaked, also some parts of my hair were still dry and hadn't been washed. Told him I wanted an inch off, thinned out as it is so thick and shaped round the face - this is what I usually ask for when the owner cuts it and does an amazing job. Adam asked me to stand up to cut my hair which is fine but it was for a good while and he was a bit too in my personal space and I could smell the cigerette smoke. He blow dried my hair which also hurt at times, then asked how I wanted it shaped which I said I'd never been asked before and just shaped round my face to which he wanted specifics. He then said he didn't want to thin it out and if he had to, it would be on me. This made me feel really uncomfortable, I said yes having lived with very thick hair all my life, I always ask for it to be thinned out - especially in summer. I didn't expect to argue for it. When he was apparently finished, I was so upset I asked the owner to shape it round my face, which he very graciously did. I went to pay and he asked for £5 more than what was on the website and in my confirmation email which just made it even more awkward.
