I had an appointment on Friday 11/02/22 with Ali and I am extremely disappointed with the results. I asked for an inch of length off my hair and for layers to be put at the back to add some better definition to my curls. However, when I returned home and upon further examination, Ali had actually completely hacked my hair off and took so much weight out that the ends look straggly. She also took off so much length that it's put me back 2 years worth of growth and the layers haven't even been blended in well at all. It now looks like I have two different hairstyles. When I got home and realised, I cried because of how unhappy I am with how it looks, which has never happened to me before after a haircut. This was my second curly cut, as I had previously had one done in Brighton. The technique used at your salon was completely different and did not work with my hair at all. I was so happy with how my hair was before I entered the salon and was really looking forward to the appointment as I thought it would enhance it. I am now only going to wear my hair up until it is sorted out because I am so unhappy with it. Ali also told me that the price of the appointment was going up because she charged my for a thick cut instead of a medium cut. At no point in the appointment did she tell me this and if she did, I would have refused to have continued as it is already an expensive appointment. I am therefore asking for a full refund and for my hair to be sorted out free of charge due to the distress and upset caused from such a poor experience.

Without doubt the worst haircut I have ever had. I came out looking like I’d had a 50’s blow dry, but assumed it would look better once I’d dried and styled it myself- I look like a shaggy mess- wave pattern appears to have been cut straight through meaning I have chunks sticking out at angles. I’m disgusted with myself for actually paying. On top of the terrible haircut- Stylist was superficially friendly but checking notifications on her watch whilst drying my hair and gave an overall impression of disinterest- I suspect because I don’t fit the ‘young and gorgeous’ type they seem to attract… or maybe she just didn’t like me/knew she couldn’t work with my hair/didn’t actually care if I returned or was happy. Despite what it says on the website, there is no complimentary massage. Salon door left open in the middle of winter, cold wind blowing round my legs. The coffee I was served was barely warm and tasted like a cheap ‘packet’ mix latte. Looking for positives- the products used seemed good and smelt lovely and thank god she didn’t cut enough of my hair off to prevent me putting it in a ponytail- because that’s where it’s going to have to be until it grows long enough for me to cut it myself- frankly I wish I’d stuck with doing that and not wasted my money on ‘treating’ myself to a haircut in this over priced, over hyped salon.

I was really looking forward to my visit to the salon however was left very disappointed. I was sent information prior to appointment asking that I do not come into the salon but wait outside until I was requested to come in due to stations / equipment needing to be cleaned during this current pandemic. My appointment time was 1 pm I waited outside until 1.20 and received no call I decided to come on into the salon and explained I had been waiting I did not receive an apology and noted other customers were waiting in the salon . I don’t understand why information was send out if this was not adhered too. So my hair was not started until 1.30 I absolutely appreciate that hair appointments can run behind and as long as I am given my allotted time however this did not appear to be the case . Once my hair was cut I was told another hairdresser. would dry my hair given I had choose one of the experienced hairdressers at £85 a hair cut I was disappointed . Once my hair was dry Thomas my hairdressers at the stage had started cutting his next clients hair. He only very briefly came back to my hair and spend less than five minutes he actually mentioned it was still a little heavy . Given I had explained at the beginning my hair I felt was too heavy and needed more layers . All in all I felt very dissatisfied with my experience I felt I was not given the full attention I should have been and whilst I wished I had voiced this at the time given the nxt client was day right next to me it would have been very uncomfortable to do so . I have tried to address this before writing this review but have had no response to messages left . I would appreciate a call to discuss further as soon as possible .

Really difficult to get hold of and had loads of issues with booking appointments and they had to be changed a bunch of times. The site allows you to book with people who don’t work there any more (which is what happened to me) and no one contacts you to tell you that the booking isn’t valid anymore, someone actually turned up to one of these appointments when I was having my hair done and were told that they’re very sorry but she needed to rebook. Really good haircut but I feel like I only had half the stylist’s attention as they were cutting someone else’s hair and didn’t get much advice on my hair type or what to do at home. I was left sitting in my chair for 45 mins before anyone told me that my stylist was running late. Bit disappointed really because I had waited months for the appointment and was super excited about it and had driven 3 hours to be there.

1. I didn't feel the haircut was really tailored, more like all of the preparation advised prior to the appointment was pointless, hair was straighten using hands, cut dry, and not really according to natural curls. 2. The quantity of the product was excessive, and placed also on my scalp causing itchiness. I had to wash straight away once home. 3. I was hoping for a good haircut that would help to style my hair on an everyday basis. Obviously, the hair looked great freshly styled, but if that styling took a hairdresser an hour, which is very long, how long would that take me? Not really practical, which means the effect is very short-term. 4. Using hot air during drying. 5. The advice was poor, not tailored to me at all, a few words about using a t-shirt, was hoping for some more professional tricks, and for having a conversation. That didn't happen. 6. After washing the effect is similar to that after any random hairdresser.
