It was established over 50 years ago by Mr Philip McCarthy and is now owned by his protege Mrs Michelle England since 2015.  The salon offers all aspects of hairdressing with cutting and creative colouring it's best asset.The brands Schwartzkopf and Ghd are used in the salon and recommended for home use by the company .

I look forward to having my hair hi lighted, cut and blow dried at this salon. The staff are all particularly polite and friendly and professional. The salon itself is clean and bright and generally very pleasant. I searched for some time for a salon and stylist that I liked and trusted and I found it here at McCarthy's. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to this Salon for over forty years. Michelle England, the present owner since taking over from Philip McCarthy, was in school with my daughter and started here as a Saturday girl washing hair. She has gained a wealth of experience over the years in all aspects of hairdressing and is an excellent hairstylist. She and her team are highly professional in all aspects of their work. I would recommend this Salon to anyone.
