I was very happy with my style and colour overall. My colourist was very chatty. The girl who washed my hair was quite chatty as well. Unfortunately my stylist didn't chat at all, only asked me how I was, what style I wanted, and then at the end asked me if I was happy with my cut. My stylist excused themselves twice while cutting my hair, once to go to reception, and in the opposite direction the second time. I'm used to a bit of a "chin-wag" when I come in to the salon so I felt a bit deflated when I left. I have asked for a different stylist when I come in next time. Also I never get advice on how to best look after my colour and no-one ever talks about the products they're using. I work in retail, and although it feels a bit cheesy sometimes talking about products, I know from experience that I sell more if I talk more. I would happily buy your products on a recommendation as they make my hair smell and look great, but in all the years I have been coming to your salon I have only bought one hairspray.

I was charged £43 for my haircut last year. Six weeks ago I was charged £48 and today £53. Same stylist and same haircut. But no warning nor explanation of price rise given!! I did ask the receptionist. That’s a 20%+ increase in 12 weeks. Not good enough.

I was very well looked after and constantly asked if I wanted magazines and drinks. Despite 3 1/2 hours in the salon and 3 trips to the basin to wash off colour, toner and a complimentary treatment (they were running a bit late which didn’t worry me), I didn’t have any form of scalp massage that I have previously had (and is one of my highlights visiting the hairdressers!). I was taken aback by the final price in comparison to what I have paid previously. I should have perhaps asked in advance. A lovely salon but I didn’t think I got good value for money overall and doubt I’ll go back sadly.
