It is very expensive, higher in price than other salons but the girls are very good. Don't price yourselves out of the market

I live in Guernsey but I've been coming to Marcela's Salon several times a year since 2004. They do a fabulous pedicure. I feel like dancing out of the salon whenever I get a pedicure. I've recommended Marcela's Salon to several of my friends.

Marcela's is a very good, very professional, very friendly salon. I keep coming back because I like the quality of the service and the friendliness of the athmosphere. The specialists are very good, even if I always prefer to have one or two that know my tastes and whom I can trust completely. I also like Emma the beauty specialist, who also is a very good professional, even if she has to work in a very small room which can be a bit claustrophobic at times. But she is excellent which is why I do not try to go to another salon.

The nail service is exceptional. The quality is extremely good and the technicians are quite lovely manicurists who have such warm, lovely personalities and are so professional. It is VERY important to keep top manicurists in this salon because it all comes down to that. The manicurists need to work very well and very fast. I came to Marcela's a few years ago because this salon had been recommended to me by friends and because I was not happy with some other salons in the neighborhood. I found Marcela's to be friendly, professional, a lovely "south American" environment, a great experience. And I stayed there. However, I am not sure that the Beauty services are as good. The Beauty cabin is too small, the services are not well explained, this is not as good as the nail services. I do not know if Marcela's could improve the Beauty services, considering the extremely small spaces devoted to it, but currently it is not competitive with other salons. And this has nothing to do with some of the beauticians who are very pleasant ladies.

This is a very special salon, and the best I have ever been to. When Marcela herself is there, her advice on colours to suit outfits is unparalleled. Everyone takes great care.
