I REVISITED THE SALON AGAIN YESTERDAY AS I DIDN'T THINK THE FIRST ROOT COLOUR HAD COVERED MY ROOTS PROPERLY. THE STAFF KINDLY OFFERED TO DO IT AGAIN. I HAD SAID THAT I STILL MAINLY WANTED TO STAY BLONDE. THE COLOUR THAT WAS ADVISED UNFORTUNATELY WAS A STEP TOO FAR AS IT TURNED OUT TO BE TOO DARK AT THE ROOTS AND HAS MADE IT LOOK BRASSY THIS ALSO ALTERED THE REST OF MY HAIR COLOUR . AS IT WAS APPLIED STARTED TO FEEL VERY HOT AND FELT LIKE IT WAS BURNING MY SCALP. THE SALON WAS VERY BUSY AT THE TIME I DID ASK A STAFF MEMBER TO REMOVE THE HOT ELECTRIC HEATER AS THIS WAS MAKING IT MORE UNCOMFORTABLE IT WAS REMOVED. THE END RESULT OF THE COLOUR CHOSEN WASN’T WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. I FELT THE NEED TO WRITE THIS SURVEY THIS WOULDN’T STOP ME FROM RETURNING AS I FELT EVERYONE ONE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. Macadamia is my go to hairdressers. I have been coming now for over 6 years. I cannot fault the staff at all! I recently visited for cleanse cut and finish. I showed the hairdresser an image of what type of cut I would like and unfortunately I left feeling very disappointed and embarrassed of my new hair style. I explained that I would like a “wispy, thin, light and long fringe” what I received was a thick fringe with what I can only describe as a mullet style.

Have been going here a few years now and always had a good haircut. The one I received yesterday was really poor though. Asked for a low fade and ended with a high fade and only realised how poor it was once I’d got home and had showered all the loose hair off. But as I say every other time I have been it’s been great. Just going to put it down to an off day.
