Gorgeous is quite simply a new concept in hairdressing, located in the heart of the historic town of Berkhamsted. We opened the salon in 2006, after working for many years in Berkhamsted and we decided it was time for change.
The idea behind the Salon is simple: exceptional hairdressing skills, unsurpassed customer service in a relaxed, stylish & friendly environment.

Adam at Gorgeous has restored my faith in hairdressers! FINALLY - a hairdresser who listened, cared, and delivered! Without any prompting, he advised on the hairstyle I’ve been trying to get for ages but my last hairdresser just didn’t tune in. The cut was superb, I had loads of compliments and Adam also coloured it (such a great ethos, that he took ownership of his work and wanted to see his vision through by doing the colour too). I am super happy and feeling ‘gorgeous’ for the first time in years! Thankyou Adam - you were a real find! I shall be back!

I booked in for a cut and blow dry with Anna after an absence of a decent trim in over a year. I don't normally enjoy hair salon visits due to various reasons, in particular the huge discomfort at sitting at an awkward uncomfortable angle for what seems like an eternity whilst my hair is washed in a torture basin (tall peeps iykyk) but .....I was hugely surprised and relieved to discover I had none of those issues here. Maybe salon sinks have evolved... Anyway, Anna was attentive to my request and cut and styled my hair just how I'd requested. The whole experience was smooth and efficient and Anna was friendly and proficient in her craft. I'd definitely recommend this salon to friends and family!
