Fantastic haircut, couldn't be happier with the result. First time, definitely going back, already made an appointment for a trim. Straightforward, laid back, no nonsense, just what I wanted (as I usually hate going to the hairdresser).

For anyone looking for a way to colour their hair or like myself cover up the grey without harsh unnecessary chemicals then I cannot recommend Emma Hall hairdressers enough. Using an organic natural system You can colour with minimising any risks you may otherwise have been exposed to by long use of hair dye over the years. I travel 2 hours every 8-9 weeks, and am always delighted with the results, both colour and cut. There seems to be no additional cost for using this natural colour system and this salon is in the heart of the city being a 10 minute walk from the train station. I cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the loveliest, friendliest salon in all of Edinburgh, with none of the horrible chemical smells you normally associate with hair salons. As an added bonus the little piece of chocolate fudge you get with your cup of tea is delightful. What used to be a chore is now a pleasure.

This is hands down the best hair salon I've been to. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly, it's really relaxed, and they don't do the hard sell with products. Added bonuses are that products are cruelty-free and organic, and you get chocolate fudge with your drink!
