I’ve never had a decent blow dry and always feel disappointed but not at this salon...I was very happy with the blow dry and the advice on improving my hairs condition. Very impressed!

I am extremely satisfied with the service received from Alta Hairdressing. Imogen is an excellent colourist who really took the time to understand what I was looking for whilst offering great colour advice. Furthermore, Mario is an exceptional hairdresser who provided a wonderful cut whilst providing useful advice on how to maintain healthy hair and what products to invest in to ensure this. Both of them were very professional and friendly leading to a perfect salon experience and amazing hair. I cannot recommend highly enough thank you to both.

I don’t necessarily want my hair blown dry and made to look ‘done’, I just want it cut so that it hangs well and always looks nice, and so that it grows out still looking nice. I have a specific idea of how I want it cut and I had always had terrible experiences of visits to hairdressers who either didn’t understand or didn’t listen. My experience at Alta was completely different. The hairdresser listened and accepted what I wanted done, just offering professional knowledge of any problems that might crop up. Then he cut it very carefully but expertly, making absolutely sure he got it right first time and not having to repeatedly even it up! The result was exactly what I wanted and I’m very pleased.

Needed to find a new hairdressers after the most recent lockdown and after reading the website and speaking to Mario on social media I knew this was the place to come. I’ve had 2 haircuts with Imogen (I believe) and she has been fantastic and what’s even better is the prices are cheaper than my last hairdressers. And the experience was way better. If you you’re looking for somewhere new I recommend booking now.

My third visit to Alta. They sent me a loyalty voucher which made the costs very competitive. Mario always gives professional advice on the right cut and how to style and look after my hair.

Took my daughters for a well over due haircut in the half term break. Both stylists were helpful & did a lovely job. Both girls were pampered & very happy with the experience!
