I've been coming to this salon for the last 3 years and Ed James has personally been consulting and styling my hair since I discovered this gem of a salon. You literally feel like the girl on the ad, the one who "just stepped out of the salon" who looks amazing, and turns heads as she walks. Right from the moment when you walk in, the hostess is undoubtly juggling calls, clients and requests but finds the time to settle you in, and before you know it the complimentary teas are produced (and bubbles if it's deemed an appropriate time of the day). Prior to your consultation one of the lovely ladies from the spa graciously prepares you for an immersive experience, you're treated to a selection of oils and blends and style of therapies. I highly recommend starting your experience with a courtesy head massage. The team in Putney are simply amazing, the atmosphere is totally serene and the soothing environment certainly disconnects you from any chaos. It really is like stepping into a tranquil spa. There is no emphasis placed on the time you have during your appointment. The team really do take their time to consult with their clients, I absolutely trust their opinion. In most cases I simply don't think about my hair prior to my visit and Ed simply knows my history and knows exactly what to do and how to refresh a style or try something new that suits me. There is much thought and consideration taken in selecting the right products to use during your consultation. I love Aveeda and its amazing to discover this salon which happens to only use Aveeda. Their breath of knowledge, keeping up with the trends is a breath of fresh air. You can see why the team and salon are flourished with many awards. Ladies (and gents), if you are looking for an immersive experience and want to find your new regular salon, then I truly do advocate the team at Edward James. Don't just take my word for it, your guaranteed an amazing experience! It is truly one of the best hair salons you'll discover in SW.
