I arrived here courtesy of my husband who was in need of a haircut and was able too book online and we're open in the evenings. He thought his experience was great so recommended Mary Handy's to me. Having had a terrible experience at a nearby salon I was looking for somewhere to get a good cut without the sometimes judgemental attitudes you get in the chain salons. A lovely friendly salon with exceptional advice. (Not one of those places where you are "encouraged " into something you didn't want because it suits the cutter not the client) Susan and her team listen, discuss and deliver a great haircut or colour. I have been coming here a couple of years now and feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Today I discovered they now offer beauty treatments so my unruly eyebrows and hair was tamed. Not expensive either.
