I was asked to pre pay when I booked over the phone. This was new to me and I didnt feel great about it. Also I was never informed that Body Magic had changed to Cove SPA. As a valued customer it would have been nice to be told. Sb

Thank you for your feedback. In the first instance please accept our apologies for what seems to be a frustrating experience for you - not at all an intention on our part. Please allow me to explain: The Cove Spa has a deposit policy in place to ensure our loyal clients get maximum availability for when they need it. Clearly this policy means less over-bookings with late cancellations, which would only block the Spa diary unnecessarily and upset genuine clients who cannot get the space. As for the change over from BodyMagic, we started our communications back in November so have covered pre, during and post activity of informing all clients of the latest updates. These messages were sent to everyone signed up to either our e-marketing or social media channels. I trust you'll join us soon if not already. I trust this note will go someway to instill your confidence in our efforts and we hope to see you at the Spa very soon. Krupesh Director

The therapist Maria was very good. Excellent therapist. Happy with the actual treatments that took place. However, the salon needs a huge investment in terms of aesthetics, it's very off-putting at the moment, and it's the reason I wouldn't return. It's like walking into someones living room rather than a professional spa. Could do with a complete re-fit including the treatment rooms which are run-down, equipment is old, they don't seem to be big enough for client and therapist to move around comfortably. It's an old building so work needs to be done to make the floors and doors quiet so they don't squeak and cause minimal disruption during quiet/relaxing treatments. Therapists/staff need to avoid walking/crashing past treatment room while treatment taking place. Music is played via an old CD player on the floor- not relaxing at all. Sound system needs to be installed to get a spa-like feel. Therapists need to prepare all the ingredients before hand to avoid squeezing of bottles/shaking/dropping them during treatment. Would be better to provide a towel that fits the face section of the treatment bed so when client is face down they don't have to put their face on paper.

I went to Cove Spa very last minute as needed my nail colour changed. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and managed to get me an appointment an hour later. I had a fantastic experience and am very pleased with the nail colour and end result. Thank you very much Maria.

The insense is very over powering and nearly knocks you out. Something lighter or a citrus scent would be far more preferable.
