Maria gives a great massage - firm but relaxing. I like Cove Spa but the overall feel of the place is just a little tacky. I can't work out if it's the lighting, flooring or reception area. It doesn't really matter but it detracts from the indulgence and feels more practical.

The deep tissue massage was great and the perfect pressure. Lovely touches include the oil to inhale under the massage bed during the treatment. I didn’t receive any pre or post massage advice etc though, so couldn’t score this on the feedback form. My only comment are the treatment room / toilets look a little tired but the downstairs reception area and salon is really nice.

I have visited Cove a number of times and been very pleased with the service. Today was a slightly less than perfect experience - for the first time the therapist didn’t leave the room as I got undressed and I was only offered a light sheet to cover myself rather than a proper blanket as usual. I also found the treatment a little disjointed and I could hear the therapist regularly checking her notes as to what to do next. I appreciate people need to learn but I did find it rather less relaxing and reassuring as a consequence e.
