'The Quarters is a family salon at the heart of a commiunity'


Established in 1973, Our salon in East Horsley village has been around since 1973 when it was known as ‘Patricks Headquarters’. Over the years the salon name has changed from ‘Headquarters Hair Care’, to ‘Headquarters Hair’ and finally in 2024 becoming ‘The Quarters’. Whilst our image may have transformed the values of our salon have always stayed the same. 


The current owner Marie took on the salon in 2016, age 23, along with her Mum, Karen. We're an ever-evolving salon and pride ourselves on welcoming all age groups. We've featured in numerous hair magazines and have even taken part in London Fashion week, We’re not just your average village salon!

Visiting The Quarters is always a welcoming, friendly experience. The salon is designed to allow customers a feeling of space, providing an easy flow of conversation with your stylist. The salon itself is super clean, beautifully decorated, light and airy, with large windows at the store front and excellent lighting throughout. My stylist is very knowledgeable in working with colour and knows how to cut my strong and challenging hair to remain manageable once I leave the salon. I am always looked after attentively by my stylist and the staff at The Quarters; the overall feeling is one of professionalism, care and attention to detail and a team that looks out for each other and their customers.
