Unfortunately you wouldn’t let me post my long post following my visit to the salon in Oxford today I want make a written formal complaint due to the bad experience I had today (I have been a regular customer for over 10 hrs and until today I have always been v happy with the service

I think it's shameful that you offer massage treatments as you do- stick to the hairdressing.I had initially been drawn in by the online booking system as it seemed effortless. I was really looking forward to finding somewhere I could go for massages but there are so many negative points that I will not return for any service. The room is tiny, cluttered and smells bad, there's no attempt at making it a nice environment. The hot wax from other treatments was still on adding to the smell. It was a stuffy room and a warm day but I was covered with two blankets.The room has barely any privacy, there's crashing and loud noises from the salon, hairdryers, kettles, music, chatter of hairdressers that impacts on what a massage treatment should offer, I wasn't asked prior to treatment to give any health details which usually happens with caring therapists. I spent my treatment feeling bored and looking forward to getting out after a treatment of what I can only describe as being dusted(!) rather than actually massaged. I don't think the therapist is at fault here but I do think the space is not conducive, nor inspiring as a workplace and she may have been quite inexperienced but then think you should consider charging accordingly.

Worst haircut I've ever had. I'm really upset about how my hair was butchered. The colour is fine.

This was a one off visit to the salon as I don’t live locally but if I did I wouldn’t return. The staff were generally friendly but I didn’t even see the girl that washed my hair until I stood up from the back wash and she didn’t speak at all. I found the decor scruffy, not what I expect from an establishment stocking Aveda. My blow dry was fine and the stylist pleasant.

My dress got soaked during shampoo. She did apologise but it was very uncomfortable experience. It was nice to have complementary hand massage, but the person who did had very long nails which made sometimes uncomfortable. Haircut itself was ok. She asked me if I want straight finish or lightly wavy finish. I said very light wave as I will go to an event later. Ended up a full wave massive hair. She then quickly straighten back but it wasn’t so straight due to from massive wavy hair. I was looking forward to going to an event straight after the hairdresser but I had to change my clothes and straighten my hair properly. They gave me discount however I wish I had a proper service as I normally look forward to going to hair dressers. I don’t think I will go back to brothers again. It was my usual place but not any more.
