Blades is not just a barbers, Blades offers a 5 star experience starting on the ground floor with the walk-in service, with 6 fully experinced barbers with over 100yrs barbering experience. Check yourself into the walk-in manager software telling you just how long your wait is, then relax at the fully equipped bar at the back of the shop should you wish to wait. Should you wish not to wait, based on the second floor is the 1950s retro appointment barbershop, which includes full sized snooker table, and darts.


Also based on the second floor, is the VIP Suite, where customers can relax for 45mins in a one to one environment with our head barber. Services provided are shampoon and cuts, perms, beard treatments, cut throat shaving, ear & nose waxing, black charcoal face mask, hair systems.

It's hard for a demon to get a good haircut these days, especially when you have a style that's a little left of center. It made a refreshing change to be able to sit down, relax, and let someone else deal with the mob of pitchfork carrying peasants that can usually be found in my wake. The young sacrifice, sorry lady, that cut my hair was both pleasant and efficient, the only thing missing was the pleasant whiff of abject terror, but you can't have everything. Thank you for the great and unforced service you provided.

I usually attend as a walk-in and can usually be seen quickly around appointments. If not the booking in system let's u keep your place in the queue while I kill time in town
