Blades is not just a barbers, Blades offers a 5 star experience starting on the ground floor with the walk-in service, with 6 fully experinced barbers with over 100yrs barbering experience. Check yourself into the walk-in manager software telling you just how long your wait is, then relax at the fully equipped bar at the back of the shop should you wish to wait. Should you wish not to wait, based on the second floor is the 1950s retro appointment barbershop, which includes full sized snooker table, and darts.


Also based on the second floor, is the VIP Suite, where customers can relax for 45mins in a one to one environment with our head barber. Services provided are shampoon and cuts, perms, beard treatments, cut throat shaving, ear & nose waxing, black charcoal face mask, hair systems.

Both customers have come back and don't even look like have had a hair cut. We paid for 2 30 min appointments and it was 15 mins each. Haitchs skin fade is shocking!!! Stuarts hair at the front is not even cut straight. A complete waste of money. Haitch always comes here but had to change barber due to jake not being in. He will never use this one again

My son has just returned home following his first visit to blades with a friend who also had an appointment at the same time. The cut was just OK, it doesn’t look like it was well thought out, it’s just a bit ‘choppy’ all over rather than blended. In addition to this the barber remained silent all the way through which made him feel a bit tense and unsure. This was particularly upsetting as his friend next to him had a lovely, chatty, friendly barber who gave a great hair cut! My son felt he’d done something wrong to offend his as he didn’t speak to him throughout. Terrible first experiences!! Won’t ever be repeating again. I don’t want to speak to anyone about this as there is nothing you could say or do to change his poor experience this morning.

I generally like going to Blades, I’m always happy with the cut and the staff are friendly and skilled. My only negative would be that I have had several appointments cancelled at the last minute having been booked well in advance alternatives are always offered but they don’t seem to see a problem with moving things around at short notice.

I have been coming to Blades for years I've noticed over the last few years more people are making appointments unfortunately it's not possible for me to do that which means iam a walk in client unfortunately I seem to be waiting longer and longer when I come to have a haircut.I don't really want to go elsewhere but I may need to consider moving so I don't have to wait 30to60 minutes.I never had to wait that long in a few years ago.
