I am so upset that I have to leave such a negative review& I want to make clear it is not personal in any way towards the young gentleman who dealt with me. As a regular client I am disappointed that when my regular stylist is sick, I’m not giving a choice of another experienced stylist.Or notified that I will be dealt with by someone clearly not experienced & let that be my choice. I’m further upset that I was asked to pay £48 for I guess a wash& good head massage?I was so upset I just wanted to get away.

More painful and exhausting than a visit to the dentist. The staff continued to smile and be professional whilst they Tried to contain their annoyance in a patronising way. It was mooted by the owner that it was my hair’s fault that the product used , left it like an oil slick. As and could not be dried. It was a mistake but it meant that I didn’t get s blow dry and had to have 4 shampoos which had left my hair dry and unfinished. They took £5 off £45 but I gave it to the hairdresser who was obviously upset. I felt upset that she was upset. I should have been given a complimentary voucher but I am not in a rush to go back, maybe they should have offered s Free product to help with my now dry hair and not made me pay the fee. The amount of pulling and drying was painful and traumatic. I know other people love them they just don’t work for me.

I went in with a side parting and came out with a central parting. I hadn't realised that was going to happen. Would have liked this to be discussed with me. Oh well. Can't fault the haircut though. Simply gorgeous.

When trying to book on line it does not work. Even if you try to book for the following week the days you select don't then appear with the available appointments, even when I know that the stylist is available that day. This is not the fault of the salon but an issue with the website designers and management company. Being part of a website design team this is a simple process and should be easy to do and manage. If some time was spent on this for improvements salons would get far more bookings. It has been like this for a long time and should be fixed soon or I might just develop my own site that actually works.

I called to check the time of my appointment the day before and was told 11.30 - I got there at 11.25 and was told I was late - this did not make me feel very welcome when I had been looking forward to having my hair cut for a long time and it’s meant to be a treat .
