I purchased a 60 minute aromatherapy massage, and the massage was lovely. I would however, say this is the second one I have had at the salon and neither had scented oils used. So I wouldn't consider this an aromatherapy experience.

It was really rushed today with staff constantly being asked when they would finish and that they had a client waiting it didn’t make for a ‘soecial’ Experience. The waiting room was being used for a staff meeting so I was moved from chair to chair. It’s a shame as the whole experience was rushed. Nails however look lovely.

I came in for 2 treatments at the salon using the special offer of getting the 2nd treatment half price. My first was a pedi which was the winter warmer offer deal. It was lovely, the service received from the beautician was great and I thought it was great value for money with the deal. My second treatment was a facial, the cost of which is more than I have paid for other facials but as there was a deal on I thought I would treat myself. The facial was ok and the beautician was nice however during the treatment she did talk a bit throughout the facial, which when I am having a facial I like to zone out and relax. It also felt, at times, it was a big sales push for further products to purchase or other services to try. Its great the knowledge your beautician has and understand you may want to recommend products that have been used but that could have been left to talk about until the end of the facial rather than during each point as it was a bit off putting and took me out of my relaxed state.

My treatments were lovely today but as has happened in the past here abs at the sister site in Reigate, there is always too much of a hard sell on products. For people like myself who find it quite difficult and awkward to continuously decline a product it does spilt the overall experience. There is a line between making the customer aware of what is on offer and the persistent line up of product after product. It’s a shame. And I don’t know if it’s the only way staff are able to make decent money as the drive is that hard. There are a lot of positives at this salon but it is this which makes me reluctant to return.
