Always a real treat to visit Austen Thomson hair salon. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming even if they are really busy! My stylist Lauren is amazing and is always spot on with what I request of her. I didn't leave looking like Helena Christensen (the photo I showed her) but I left looking like me but a million x better than when I walked in!

This is certainly the best salon I have found in Edinburgh. My stylist Lauren is just fab. She's so easy to talk to and knows her stuff, giving the perfect level of advice from cuts to colours. I've recommended family and friends on numerous occasions who have all been really happy with the cuts/styles they've left with. They also serve great coffee :)

I am very pleased with my colour and cut at Austen Thomson Hair. Louise is an excellent stylist. She she made suggestions for the cut and some small alterations to the colour combinations I usually have and I really like the result. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I felt I was looked after very professionally, by all members of the team.

I have been a client of the salon since it opened and of Austen and Louise for many years prior to that. I am very particular about my hair but trust Austen implicitly with both cut and (wonderful)colour. I would never dream of going anywhere else. Everyone in the salon is efficient and friendly.

Christie is a very friendly but professional stylist. She discusses every aspect before, during and after the appointment to ensure you know what she is doing and also to check you are satisfied with your cut or colour.
