I arrived at the saloon to be told I had to wait again ( same as last time ) 10 mins later my hair was washed and ready to be cut and styled. Very little conversation about what I wanted . I would have liked a bit more input but he decided just a tidy up. I was made to feel invisible. I felt like I wasn’t young enough or one of the beautiful people that he would have preferred to work with . A smile or joke may have been nice. I wanted him to cut my hair after watching him take so much care with a customer the last time I came . How silly was I to think this older lady would be given the same treatment. I’m not sure this review won’t make any difference to the way you work ..but like most people I wanted this to be a lovely relaxing experience. Instead I couldn’t wait to get out . Needless to say I won’t be returning and after reading this I shouldn’t think I would be welcomed . I like to think you was just having a off day .

Misleading advertising. 50% colour? No not unless they cut & finish too. But couldnt fit me in for that, just colour, so had to pay full price, wasnt explained to me when booking either. Lois, unbelievably rough with your hair, couldn't wait to leave

Booked in for full head foils cut and blow dry, had foils but lady apparently not qualified to cut hair ( which I found out later) so she attempted a cut, no senior member of staff available, I was asked to come in next day when she could cut hair under supervision for same price as quoted, went back next day , poor reception by management, lovely lady tried to tidy up hair, got charged more money, and told blow dry was not included so had to leave salon with wet hair, have been going there for years but will never go again

I’ll be honest because i think it’s the only way we can learn. I’m always hesitant to use local salons as opposed to big chains because my hair can be difficult to handle. My hair is thick and curly but doesn’t look like that when it’s wet. Sadly my fears came true yesterday. I thought I’d paid for a top stylist but I ended up with the hairdresser who had just started and, as is often the case with my hair, it was cut too short when wet and didn’t take out enough of the weight. Once it had fully dried I felt a bit like a triangle. I didn’t have much confidence in my stylist and I won’t be returning I’m afraid.
