I was so excited to try this salon as the posts on social media looked fantastic and were just what I looking for.The salon looks great and I had a very warm welcome at the reception desk. The lady who washed my hair was lovely. Unfortunately from there my experience was not good. I felt like the stylist wasn’t interested in me as a client, possibly because I was only a cut and dry rather than a colour and the haircut I left with was the worst haircut I have ever had and I just wanted to cry. I was booked in for an hour slot and I was out after only 30 minuetes from arriving at the salon. My hair looked bad in the salon but I hoped after getting home and re washing/styling my hai myself it might be ok but it was worse as it was not an even cut and a small chunk of hair was longer than the rest in a blunt cut. I feel more time should have spent checking the Final Cut given there was so much time left of my appointment. I was so disappointed as I had seen the work of this particular stylist on social media and she had done such amazing hair so perhaps she was just having an off day which happens to all of us. In the salons defence I havn’t contacted the salon to give them opportunity to correct it. but I’m afraid I won’t be going back and am impatiently waiting for my hair to grow back. A shame.

I understand that during the coronavirus that safety precautions must be taken and this may cost businesses, but to ask clients who have arrived feeling excited and need their hair done once they walk through the door to pay an additional 20% (which I was actually changed £20), made me feel like I was held ransom at the door. I would have preferred that this was added onto your website or discussed on the phone when I called to check my appointment, so that I could feel like I actually had a choice. I felt extremely disappointed and it spoilt my experience at the salon which is usually very positive and it’s why I am happy to pay what I pay. I’d like to make clear, the stylist was perfect. The above scoring was influenced by the shock once I entered the salon and not a reflection of the service or the past.

Really enjoyed the experience and care of Kayde this morning, until I came to pay. Lovely to have a reduced price for a new customer, but £55 being the usual price is just too much! Would you consider a reduction for pensioners?!

I understand the salon is undergoing refurb and redecoration, but shower nozzle for hair washing sprayed everywhere and all over face. Hair washing chairs more uncomfortable although they are being replaced.
