Great hair is the centre of what we do. All our stylist have training with L'oreal Professional, Montibello and the British barbering Association to ensure that our techiniques are up to date and that we are able to deliver on our clients expectations.
We specialise in colour. It begins with an indepth consultation where your stylist can ensure that we have the right colour products for you specific hair type. We pride ourselves in being able to offer high standards whilst constantly evolving our knowledge to ensure we deliver exactly what our clients want.

I’ve been to hair at monroes 3 times now, each time served by the lovely Nicole. She’s always been honest about the condition of my hair and how well it would handle treatment, she’d never risk doing something to my hair that she knows it wouldn’t handle. I’ve spent 26 years trying to find a decent hair salon as I always leave feeling dissatisfied, until I tried hair at monroes, I’ve finally found a salon which I always leave feeling happy and confident. There’s always great hospitality as I get offered a hot drink and a biscuit, which just makes me feel welcome and at home. Nicole always has great conversations with me, it never feels forced or uncomfortable. It’s always a great experience. Although I haven’t had my hair done by other staff, I’ve encountered them all in the salon, at the welcome desk and they all seem lovely! The only thing I would change would be the decor of the building, not that it’s in bad condition but i find the interior design quite boring, and feel like it could be more aesthetically pleasing but that’s just down to my personal taste and I’m quite an eccentric person! Overall, as always an amazing experience.
